Every Woman Should Own these Seven Beauty Brushes
Here are Seven Beauty Brushes I believe should be in every girl’s makeup kit, as well as what they are primarily used for.
Foundation Brush: This Brush does exactly what it is advertised to do. It applies your Foundation to your face. The best way to use this brush is to dip it in your foundation or squeeze a drop or two onto the bristles if your foundation has a pump.
Kabuki Brush: This is a great brush for bronzers and blushes. Some people have two or three kabuki brushes ( or more ) in their kits for different shades of bronzers and blushes. I use mine to apply loose powder all over my face.
Powder Brush: This is a brush which is angled and made specifically for dusting loose or pressed powder on your face. It is thicker and beefier so the powder doesn’t get clumped in the bristles and so it spreads the powder more evenly across your face.
Angled Blush Brush: The angle makes it much easier to get a good contoured shape with your brush without making too much of a circle or too thick of a line. This is also a good brush to use for bronzers and for strobing as well.
Concealer Brush: This brush is smaller, but flat and angled. It is shaped in such a manner so concealer can be evenly spread under the eye area, and the angled tip helps blend the concealer evenly in the undereye and corner areas of the eye.
All Over Eye Shadow Brush: A smaller brush with a more rounded tip, this is the brush one uses to put the base color all over the eye lid. Use them in windshield wiper motion for intense color.
Blender Brush: The bristles on this brush are longer and more “spread.” The best way to use this brush is to hold the tip of the handle and swirl in circular motions in the crease of the eye for a soft blended look.
Bonus Brush Suggestion: Eyebrow/Lash Combination Brush. Because you never know when you might need to touch up your brows or lashes either pre or post makeup application.
