Evoluderm – Shea Face Mask

Living in a city like Karachi with unpredictable weather, no one can have a set skincare routine. For e.g., when in winters, it’s extremely dry and all you want is a tub full of lotion to apply all over yourself, whereas the summers come in with full force of extreme oiliness and breakouts that even a drop of lotion feels like a layer of oil on the skin.

I, being the crazy skincare person, was on the lookout of some decent product (read: mask) that could be used during summers and be included in my skincare routine without taking much of my time. Also, when it comes to masks, my biggest turn off is when the instructions on the back of the packing says, “ apply all over face and wait for 15 – 20 minutes until the mask dries and wash off with cold water”. Urghhh! 15 – 20 minutes? Who has the time for that? I’m also a ftm (first time mom) and my kid needs me like almost all the time (sort of a clingy kid, I know) but the point is, I can’t give 20 minutes to a facemask. The whole routine? Maybe, but not just the mask. I’ve had it enough and that’s when I came across this product from EVOLUDERM. It’s a Shea face mask and I have to admit it is ahhhmazing! And the best part, the instructions say to apply it over for 5 – 7 minutes. Now, that is something I’m all in for. EVOLUDERM is a French company and its products have recently been launched in Pakistan and are exclusively available on www.just4girls.pk.

With a variety of products, it’s got all you need to add in your skincare routine. Since I wasn’t so sure about the products and how they would turn out, I initially gave a shot to the EVOLUDERM Shea Butter Face mask. The mask comes in a tube of 150 ml for the price of mere PKR 650 (seems like a killer deal, right?). Application of the mask was fairly easy and smooth, and the smell of the Shea butter gave it an almost spa like feel. Felt very light on the skin and wasn’t itchy or uncomfortable during the drying process. Also, you know how sometimes, masks tend to breakout when they’re drying and kind of pulls your skin; well it didn’t happen with this one, stayed the same until I washed my face. 7 minutes is all it took and I have fresh, baby soft skin.

I’m a happy user and definitely more inclined to give the rest of the products a try, maybe add them into my skincare routine. More reviews coming up soon. Stay tuned to the blog.
