The Two Makeup Revolution Palettes You Need ASAP

Fall is here and it’s a great time to add new eyeshadow palettes to your makeup kit! Image Credit: The Miami Style Blog.

Fall is officially here and it’s the perfect time to start revamping your makeup kit ( if you haven’t already). I’ve already been changing out my color palettes and products little by little over the past couple of weeks. The only thing I haven’t really committed to yet has been a new eyeshadow palette.

In my defense, there are so many beautiful looks that are hot and trendy this Fall that I just had a hard time making a decision. After much back and forth ( and three overloaded online shopping carts full of products I’m eyeing), I’ve finally locked in my eyeshadow palette choices.

I’ve discovered my two “IT” eyeshadow palettes for Fall, and I can’t wait to share them with you guys. They are produced by Makeup Revolution, one of my absolute favorite brands.

  1. Makeup Revolution Pro HD Palette Amplified 35 in Socialite: This is a beautiful warm toned palette which is perfect for every day use. The collection includes thirty-five mattes and shimmers to help you create stunning Fall looks. I love Makeup Revolution’s eyeshadows because they are long wearing, easy to blend ( seriously ) and are loaded with pigmentation. This is a palette which can give you so many different looks for a really great value. What I like to do with palettes like this is try each color on its own before doing combinations. That alone gives you over a month’s worth of looks! A fluffy brush works well with the matte shades for all-over color on the lid and a flat shading brush is good for shimmers. Makeup Revolution also suggests spritzing your brush with MUR Fixing Spray before application, and this is a technique I highly recommend.
  2. Makeup Revolution Pro HD Palette Amplified 35 in Innovation: If you’re a Matte eyeshadow fan, then this palette is for you. The collection features thirty-five super pigmented matte eyeshadows in a gorgeous clear window palette. Just like the Socialite palette, these shades are long wearing, easy to blend and have tons of pigmentation in them ( honestly, they’re gorgeous and are buttery soft ). Again, you could wear just one color a day for over a month and not even scratch the surface of all of the possibilities of this palette.  I like to use a flat shading brush spritzed with setting spray to apply these colors; it gives me an intense look for night time fun. If you want to use them during the day, then I suggest applying color with a fluffy brush from the lid all the way to the eyebrows.

Which one are you going to take home? They’re priced so reasonably, I would honestly recommend getting both of them. This is more than enough to last you through Fall. Not only do they look beautiful on your face, the packaging will look gorgeous on your vanity table top as well.
